The Man Who Loved Flowers and the Sonia Varaschin Murder Investigation

The Man Who Loved Flowers, by Stephen King, is a short story about a man, who seems completely normal, and interacts with many people throughout the story, but in the end, turns out to be the hammer murderer. The funny thing about this story is the fact that the main character in the story (who turns out to be the hammer murderer) is never caught. No one knows he is the hammer murderer.
The Sonia Varaschin Murder Investigation, is a sad, and awful case that is currently being investigated. One thing we know through media is the fact that we have no idea who killed Sonia, or why. There apparantly was no reason as to why she was murdered. She was a nurse, and lived alone.
I can link these two things, by one simple fact that in both cases, no one has found the murderer, or no one knows who it is. An example in The Man Who Loved Flowers would be the part when the main character passes by a flower stand and hears the awful news...
``about the hammer murderer being still on the loose and JFK had declared that the situation in a little Asian country called Vietnam would bear watching; an unidentified woman had been pulled from the East River...``
No one knows who the hammer murderer is, he is simply someone that comes in the dark of night and kills women who remind him of his either love, or pain Norma. No one really knows why he is killing people that remind him of Norma. In the Sonia Varaschin case, no one knows who would have killed her, or even why. There is no reason apparantly, and no motive. The only ``clues`` if you wish are the workboots found in the Sonia Varaschin investigation. It is said that the workboots will be a big help (so far) in the ongoing investigation about Sonia Varaschin. In The Man Who Loved Flowers, there were no ``clues`` to be told of...  In both of these ``stories`` and real life facts, these two can be linked because in The Man Who Loved Flowers, and the Sonia Varaschin Investigation, the police etc... are trying to find the murderer and trying to solve the investigation, while no one actually can as of right now. There is no murderer in custody, or found in either ``stories`` or real life tragedy.
